About Amaryllis Design Agency Ltd

Amaryllis Design Agency Ltd. is based in North Lincolnshire and became involved with Internet usage in 1995, when the present owner and Managing Director Alan Winstanley worked as a semi-professional freelancer on technology and Internet-based projects.

With a background in product development, consumer product design, graphics and marketing, IT and technology, it was natural to combine these skills into a professional Internet service for the small to medium business user. Amaryllis Design was launched as a full-time freelance firm in May 1998: the name was inspired by an Amaryllis Hippeastrum growing in a nearby flowerpot at the time!

A team of web designers, illustrators and graphic artists was formed, working closely together to offer a unique range of skills to customers. We started developing web sites for grant-assisted customers in 1999 under EU funding initiatives in the Humber region.

The firm was incorporated in 2002 as Amaryllis Design Agency Ltd. Today we are dedicated to offering a professional and dependable Internet service to the small-medium business, adding in 2009 new services for startups. Our redesigned web site opened on 4th July 2008 and is expanding to publish a range of FAQs, white papers, product reviews and more — all designed to help customers and web site visitors to get more out of the Internet.
